Our wellbeing week has been made even better thanks to the amazing Dave from Northamptonshire Walks! He dedicated his time this week to leading all our children on inspiring walks through our local landscapes. His passion for walking and nature is truly infectious, and we're so grateful for the positive impact he's had. Thank you, Dave!
Our wellbeing week at has been packed with fantastic activities! Our children have been exploring the local beauty on invigorating walks, getting their hands dirty in the garden, finding their calm with mindful colouring, and even spreading some secret smiles by leaving lovely messages for our staff around the school! SW had an amazing performance in yesterday’s Schools Golf Competition at Collingtree Golf Course! He played brilliantly, with 8 pars and one birdie. SW finished first in the nett competition and third in the gross competition.
We are all so proud of his achievements! We are now waiting to hear if he’s qualified for the National Schools Finals in July, which will be held at Woodhall Spa Golf Course in Lincolnshire. Well done SW!
Process for parents and carers if you have concerns about your child's mental health or well-being.
At times, we can become concerned about our child's health and wellbeing, and it can sometimes be difficult to know where to go for support and guidance. Don't forget that we have a section on our school website that can signpost you to help and guidance for both your children and for yourself.
But if you would like to bring anything to our attention, then the flowchart below will help you know who to go to and what we are able to do to help you and your child in school.
Any questions, just get in touch with your child's class teacher.
As a parent, it can often be such a worry with regards to our children.
But there is support out there.
If you have any concerns about your child, including their mental health, we can help and there are other organisations that offer support and guidance. Please speak to your child's class teacher or contact the charity Young Minds on the details below.
We wanted to remind parents/carers to please drive and park legally, safely and responsibly when dropping off and collecting your child/ren from school. We encourage parents/residents to report dangerous driving and parking using the below link.
Please THINK before you park.
Please THINK about pedestrians and those in wheelchairs or with pushchairs.
Please THINK about emergency services, your vehicle could be blocking their access.
Please refer to the Highway Code—Rules 238—252.
Offenders may receive penalty points and/or fine of up to £100.
Please report dangerous parking/driving to the non-emergency police number 101.
One of our dedicated parents is taking on an incredible challenge by abseiling down the Express Lift Tower dressed as Spiderman to raise funds for the Northampton Hope Centre. If you would like to support this worthy cause, please consider donating through the link below.
