Good attendance means that children can make good, consistent progress in their
school work.
We want all of our children to have good attendance so that they have the best possible chance of success, therefore we work to ensure we take action early with any child and family where we feel concerned.
We rely on our partnership with parents to ensure that this is achieved.
We would ask parents to help the school by notifying us of all absences on the first
day, with a reason for the absence and should call daily thereafter until child returns to school. Unless there is a long term illness that the school are aware of.
Any absence which is known in advance should be requested via letter and only taken once authorisation from the school is given.
Congratulations to the following pupils who have achieved their

Congratulations to the following pupil who has achieved their
SILVER AWARD!
We'd like to congratulate all of the children below who have now reached their
BRONZE READER AWARD!
On Wednesday, our children had an unforgettable day at the Cinch Stadium for a fantastic rugby festival. The excitement kicked off with games in the state-of-the-art High Performance Centre, followed by lunch in the exclusive VIP area. The creativity flowed as the children made Saints signs and designed their own trophies. To top it all off, we enjoyed an inspiring tour of the iconic stadium, where the children were thrilled to explore behind the scenes. It was a day filled with fun, teamwork, and memories to treasure!
Reception put on a spectacular Wriggly Nativity this week which they performed to their parents, carers and the rest of the school.
They showed confidence, courage and lots of star quality! We couldn't be more proud of how well they all did!
The WSA are still looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with organising enjoyable events such as fayres, discos, movie nights, and more. We also need assistance with initiatives like Healthy Tuck, Easter Raffles, and sales for Mother's and Father's Day.
Can you spare a little time to help us keep these activities vibrant for your children? If you’re interested in getting involved, please reach out to the school office at office@woottonprimaryschool.org
Your support is vital, and without it, we may struggle to continue these events. Thank you!
EXCITING NEWS - HO HO HO!
The WSA Santa Fun Run is returning to Wootton Primary School and we can't wait to see the children, having a laugh and a giggle as they run, jog, walk or skip their way around with their friends and teachers!
The fun run is due to take place on Thursday 12th December (weather depending) during school and children may wear their school PE kit on this day. Santa has agreed to gift every child a Santa hat so they look the part on the day!
The WSA hopes to make this event a HUGE success and this is where we need your help. Please help us by sponsoring your child and asking your friends and families to do so too. All money raised will go towards our fantastic school.
