A reminder that all child absences should be reported to the school office via the absence line on 01604 761679. Please ensure that you call the school every day that your child is absent so that we can allocate their mark on the register accordingly. Unless you have discussed a specific exclusion period for your child's symptoms directly with the school office, please ensure that children are reported appropriately. Please ensure that you leave your child's name, class and their reason for absence in each message.
Please could parents also ensure that lateness is recorded on the office iPad. This will require parents to accompany their child into school and the reason for lateness should be disclosed.
Many thanks for your continued support.
Congratulations to the following pupils who have achieved their
BRONZE AWARD!
The Eco Warriors are on a mission to collect toys for the Northampton Toy Library, and we need your help! If you're planning a clear-out and have any toys you no longer need, we would love to receive your donations. Please ensure that all toys are clean and in working order. If you’d like to contribute, kindly drop off your items at the school office. The deadline for donations is Friday, 22nd November. Thank you for supporting this wonderful initiative!
Next Friday, the 15th of November is Children in Need day.
We are very excited to be raising money for this wonderful and worthwhile cause, as such, children are invited to come into school in non-school uniform. Pudsey merchandise can be worn and the theme for Children In Need is 'Spots'.
The suggested donation is £1, which is payable on Arbor.
Next week, we're excited to be participating in Anti-Bullying Week. This year's theme is "Choose Respect," and we're committed to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.
Key Events:
Wednesday Assembly: The Anti-Bullying Committee will present a special assembly on Wednesday morning to kick off the week.
Odd Socks Day: To celebrate diversity and individuality, we encourage children to wear odd socks to school on Tuesday, 12th November.
Friendship Stop Design Competition: We're inviting all students to design our new Friendship Stops! Please create a circular design on an A4 piece of paper. All entries should be submitted to your child's class teacher by Friday, 22nd November. All participants will receive 2 House Points, with additional points awarded for the top three designs in each year group. The winning designs will be transformed into real Friendship Stops for our playgrounds.
Thank you for your support in promoting kindness and respect.
The WSA are still looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with organising enjoyable events such as fayres, discos, movie nights, and more. We also need assistance with initiatives like Healthy Tuck, Easter Raffles, and sales for Mother's and Father's Day.
Can you spare a little time to help us keep these activities vibrant for your children? If you’re interested in getting involved, please reach out to the school office at office@woottonprimaryschool.org
Your support is vital, and without it, we may struggle to continue these events. Thank you!
