Newcastle

Libraries are hugely important places within a community, and Newcastle's is no exception.  With many thousands of visitors during this busy period, after a fabulous launch with local groups and Woodcraft Members from all over the North East, the exhibition has helped start two new groups in areas Woodcraft Folk groups have not been for many years.

This exhibition was entirely run by volunteers from the North East, not least Dave Francis who made the journey up to Glasgow to pick up the exhibition, bring it back and manage it at Newcastle Library.  Again, so many fabulous stories and artefacts were brought to the exhibition launch.
