Find ways to tell the stories – it can be a great way to introduce some activities involving young people, kinsfolk and parents. We’ve put together a few suggestions to help start conversations about Woodcraft.
Everyone’s story matters at Woodcraft, and we want to find out more about all our members, groups and districts. We want you to be a part of our celebrations, and we’d love to hear from as many of you as possible, ‘Spanning the World with Friendship’!

Badgework can plan and structure activities. It’s also great fun making your own badges, for competitions, exchange, or to use to tell the story of Woodcraft and our aspirations for the future!
Names are fundamental to individual and cultural identity, and place emphasis on what is important to us as individuals and identifying shared values. ‘Folk names’ also link us to history, heritage, and cultural traditions of Woodcraft.

Tentmaking is a traditional camp craft skill that embodies our core educational principles and co-operative values. Making tents gives a tangible way for young people to connect with the outdoors and learn self-sufficiency.
