In many ways Brighton is an important place for Woodcraft Folk, and thanks to Sarah Susman and a team of dedicated Woodcrafters, the exhibition could be held at Brighthelm and supported by the many groups locally for the launch:

'It was great to have Lloyd [Russell-Moyle] there of course and he made a rousing speech while people were eating their celebration cake. We had stick dancing, singing and parachute games and there was a very good warm, co-operative feel to the event with old and young mixing so well as they do in Woodcraft.' Sarah Susman
