Collection of memories from Camp 100 placed in all the Camp Libraries
At Camp 100 Gabriel arranged a comment book at all three camp libraries and compiled them into one book, contributed to '100 Objects Spanning 100 Years'.
The book documents the experiences of campers in their villages and towns, and generally what it was like for them at Camp 100.
Gabriel has been an active District Fellow (DFs) at Newcastle Woodcraft, and volunteered to help at Camp 100 and for curation of our Exhibitions in Manchester and other locations. They are also involved in a plan to celebrate District Fellows as they celebrate 50 years in 2027.
While Woodcraft Folk itself was founded in 1925, the DFs emerged later as a way to bridge the gap between youth membership and adult volunteering. By 1987, the movement became significantly more autonomous when DFs formed their own DF Committee to self-organize their activities, events, and governance.
