Apprenticeship Opportunities within WMAT
As an organisation, we actively support and promote opportunities for colleagues to develop professionally through formal work-base apprenticeship programmes. The Trust has a government digital apprenticeship account with an average available fund c£350k. There is also always the possibility of applying for additional funds. This means we generally have plenty of opportunity for colleagues to apply for funded apprenticeships
Work-based apprenticeship programmes are provided by a range of providers. WMAT currently has partnerships with:
Captiva Learning Ltd (Team Leader / Supervisor / Operations Manager)
Let Me Play Ltd (TA level 3 apprenticeships)
Farnborough College of Technology (TA level 3 apprenticeships)
National College of Education / Captiva Learning Ltd (Senior Leader in Education Masters / MBA apprenticeships)
Waverley Borough Council (TA level 3 apprenticeships)
Bradford College (TA level 3 apprenticeships)
Wider partnerships with new providers are also possible.
Colleagues interested in pursuing an apprenticeship opportunity are welcome to discuss potential programmes with providers and their line managers. Once the development programme has been approved by line managers, an application can be made to a particular provider. Colleagues should look carefully at the programme of activities / assessments and the 'Off-the-job' requirements of the programmes before formally committing.
The Trust will be asked to approve the learning provider and individual learners through the government digital apprenticship platform. For further information please contact one of the Trust HR team:
