Payroll guidance
The following documents which will be useful to staff responsible for processing payroll changes, are available to relevant staff on the WMAT Google Drive / Business Ops - Personnel folder:
Payroll monthly checklist, which will guide those responsible through the monthly process
Payroll calendar
New staff data collection sheet, used to capture new starters' personal data and changes for existing staff eg bank details
HMRC starter checklist, required if a new starter does not provide a P45 from their previous employer dated within the current tax year
Additional hours form, used by employees to claim overtime etc (although schools may wish to continue using their own version of this). The total hours/sessions claimed by staff are entered onto the employee timesheet
