Economically Disadvantaged

The student's economically disadvantaged status is entered on the 'personal -> meal status' field.

 Technology updates eSchool once a month for students who are identified by the state as receiving public assistance.  The students who are coded as V – DV Sibling; M – Medicaid Free; R – Medicaid Reduced; S – Snap and T- TANF are all coded by technology and should NOT be changed.  If your admin determines that your student is a sibling of one of these students, you may code them as 9.  On the income survey note that they are a sibling of said student. 

For all other students, we must collect a signed income survey every school year.  The school administrator will review the survey, determine the student’s economically disadvantaged code, and sign the form.  (Proof of income must be on file for PK students only).
