To create a new master schedule section:
Scheduling > Courses > Master Schedule Builder > Build Master Schedule > Click on ‘+’ button
Enter course id and section. The top portion is pre-filled with data from district catalog.
You can change:
· number of maximum seats
· gender restriction
· grade restriction
· house team
Click go to the ‘Session Information’ section to continue
On the course information section, you only need to fill out:
Primary Staff
Room
Periods
Marking Periods
Cycles
The rest of the information is pre-populated from the district catalog.
If the course is a split block, click on ‘New Session’.

*It is extremely important that you change marks to ‘Not Issued’.
Mark Types (these are pre-populated from district catalog):
There is no need to change any of these on master schedule screen. Changing these will cause problems when trying to trail grades or when calculating averages for honor roll and/or GPA.
Elementary will always have MP, AV15 and FIN selected.
Middle School and High School are based on the type of course (semester, full year, etc).
Courses ending in:
0 – MP, EX, SEM, AVS45, FIN
1 – MP, EX, SEM
2 – MP, EX, SEM, SE45, FIN
5 – MP, EX, SEM, FIN
6 – MP, EX, SEM, SE45, FIN
