Prereg Roundup for 18-19

Follow these steps on eSchool to PRE-register a student for NEXT school year:

Students new to Weslaco ISD

1) Login to the 2018-2019 eSchool environment
2) To make sure this student is new to us, do a regular search using the student SSN number, if not found, proceed
3) Proceed using the Add Student steps that you already know
4) When adding the entry/withdrawal line, use date 08/27/2018
5) On the registration page, make sure the student status is Preregistered
6) Print the Cognos New To District (Next Year) forms and have the parents verify information, sign and date the forms.
7) Do not forget to make copies of documents, including SSN, Birth Certificate, Proof of Residency and Income, Immunizations, and legal documents regarding guardianship in cases where the parents are not the current guardians.

In addition:

1) Children of WISD employees and other students using the new FDA Board policies, fill in the 225 Inter-district transfer FDA (local) screen
2) Students who will have an intra-district transfer to your campus, use the 220 Transfer Request. Failure to do this will result on students being sent back to the zoned school

Active EE and P3 students who will become PK next year

1) Make sure that your environment is 2017-2018
2) Open the student Registration Screen
3) Click the Next Year tab
4) Update the Next Year Building and the Next Year Grade
5) Print the Cognos New To District forms and have the parents verify, sign, and date
As before, please make sure that the 220 or 225 screens are updated if students do not enroll at their zoned school.
