WISD is required to give out information to military, higher education institutions and companies, FERPA - allows parents to choose what information that want released and who they do not want it released too.

Migrant - Immigrant Indicators
This information is maintained by Migrant Dept.
A counselor or administrator should notify you who is to be coded bilingual. Elementary students need both bilingual program type code and ESL program type code.
A counselor or administrator should notify you who is to be coded LEP. Middle school and High school students need both LEP indicator and Parental Permission code.
This information is collected during registration and is inputted based on parent response to survey.
Criteria for this field has been updated students get coded for this indicator if student meets criteria listed bellow 977 College Ready Screen must be updated also.
“Confirmed Actual Enlistment” means students who, by December 31 immediately following high school graduation, are confirmed to be enlisted in the military
“Confirmed Imminent Enlistment” means students who, on the day of graduation, will enlist in the military by December 31 immediately following high school graduation

This information is confidential and should be given to you by social worker or counselor. They may also give you a filled out Mckenny Vento Act Student Survey that has the information that should be filled out in both personal and 147-PEIMS Title 1 Part A Data(Program Screen)

Should be calculated based on the information students counselor gives you to fill out Date Entered Grade 9 in the Registration screen.

Counseling or Administration will provide you a list or notify you what students should be coded IGC. These students are reviewed by a committee that determines if they are eligible to graduate.
** IGC must be awarded by August 31st for reporting graduation year (for the current school year). Anything after August 31st is coded as graduated for the next school year.
