Here's what we've been up to in D111 this week!

SBAC Testing: Students really persevered and tried their best on SBAC testing this week! Your notes of encouragement definitely motivated them and kept them going. We also got words of encouragement from our Little Buddies! We will be continuing SBAC testing this upcoming week - specifically math.

End of the Year Assessments: After SBAC is finished, we will begin our end of the year third grade assessments on various things such as fluency, BPST, Words Their Way, and math facts to see if they have met benchmark.

End of the Year Celebrations: We have some fun SURPRISE end of the year activities planned! We do need some supplies to make these activities happen! CLICK HERE to see what we need! Our class would appreciate the donations!

End of Year Communication Survey: As the year comes to a close, I would love to get your feedback on how communication went this year! I appreciate any feedback on what went well and ways I can create a better line of communication from school to home. If you would take a few minutes to fill out the survey LINKED HERE, I would love to hear what you have to say!

Westlake Charter High School Survey due May 6th: We need your input to create the greatest high school in Sacramento! Click HEREto complete our survey by Monday, May 6th at 3:00 PM.

Open House: Save the date for our K-8 Open House on Wednesday, May 22 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Chando’s Tacos, Good Dog Hot Dog Cart and Kona Ice will be available from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. We can’t wait to celebrate the growth your students have made in the 2018-19 school year!

Missoula Performance: You’re invited to see Westlake Charter students put on a performance of Gulliver’s Travels on Saturday, May 18t at 3:00 PM and 5:30 PM. The performance will be approximately one hour. Tickets are available at the door: cost is $1 or one canned food item per ticket. All proceeds will go to Joey’s Food Locker.

Missoula Update: It’s not too late! Click HEREto sign up to audition for Missoula Theater Company’s production of Gulliver’s Travels on Monday, May 13th at 3:30 PM.

• Please change your student in School Dismissal Manager to say “Missoula”.
• Parents/Guardians are invited into the gym at 5:00 PM as roles are assigned.
• Plan to pick up your student by 5:35 PM. Note - the lead roles and stage managers will need to stay for rehearsal from 5:35 PM-7:35 PM. There will be a snack break from 5:20 PM-5:35 PM for those students.
