Choosing to study at a tech-based institution across the country was intimidating at first, but I can truly say I have found a home here at WPI. The project-based learning approach fosters a collaborative rather than competitive atmosphere, making education a joint effort. Transitioning from high school to university is no easy feat, and it's important to make the most informed decision possible. I welcome and encourage any questions you may have!
Photography Club Secretary
Being a part of the executive board of the photography club at WPI has allowed me to "capture the moment" literally and figuratively. I work behind the scenes to shoot various events on campus.
Skateboarding Club Co-Founder & President
Born and raised in sunny San Diego, skating was something I grew up with - and university life wasn't going to change that. By founding the Skate Club, we aim to create a community for skaters of all levels to learn and grow together.
Biomechanics Concentration
As a BME student, there are various concentrations that all reflect a certain aspect of Biomedical Engineering. At WPI, I am specializing in biomechanics - the study of mechanics in biological and musculoskeletal activity. In taking this path, I hope to pursue a career in bionics or prosthesis engineering.
Outing Club
Relocating to the East Coast, I had minimal experience with snow. However, joining the Outing Club made trying a new winter sport accessible for me. Its been such a wonderful experience learning - and falling - with my friends through the Outing Club's snowboarding trips.
