Hi! I'm a first-year student here at WPI studying Robotics Engineering. I chose to make this my life's path because I love to make and do things that are tangible, visible, and effective improvements to the world, and the interactive class style of WPI fit that goal perfectly.
I'm still here because I love the student life and clubs that you can get involved in, and when I'm not buried deep in some robotics project or working on a web design hobby, you can find me having fun at underwater hockey, learning how to ballroom dance, being a part of Greek life, or just spending time with my good friends in the common room of my dorm.
It was a crazy experience coming to Worcester, Massachusetts from somewhere as far and different as Texas, but the people here made it so easy to find my place even as I was leaving all the things I knew behind. I sincerely hope that if you choose to come here, you'll find the exact same thing happens for you.
If you took a tour with me, you probably know that I love answering questions and being as helpful as possible. It's why I'm a tour guide! If you have any more for me or just want to chat, feel free to email me at the above!

Taking on the role of Bikeshare Chair as part of Green Team here at WPI has been a pretty rewarding experience. I'm getting to learn a lot about what managing a service is like and how to take on a leadership role in a position that can be demanding but is also kind and well-respected.
Underwater hockey is one of the most interesting parts of my experience here at WPI. It's a pretty intricate sport (but it's also a whole ton of fun!). I've been a part of underwater hockey for almost a year now, and despite the occasionally cold waters it's been one of the most unique and rewarding clubs I've take part in.
There are lots of ways you can fulfill your PE requirement at WPI. I absolutely love playing volleyball and pickleball, so naturally the first thing I did apon getting here was go find the respective clubs and join for some fun! I've made so many friends in each and I even won a wellness day pickleball tournament in C-term!
I'm from Texas, so naturally I learned country dancing. It was a lot of fun, and I'm happy that I get an even more expanded dancing experience now that I'm here at WPI! The ballroom dance team trains new members and then competes in dance competitions across the Massachutests area, has fun, and gives you PE credit for it.
A lot of times, college students stay on-campus. We don't have cars in our first year and everything we need is right here. Outing club is a great way for me to get out into nature and just be free for a little while. I find it's one of my favorite ways to completely forget about any schoolwork I might be stressing about and just relax!
When I was first considering college, Greek life was scary. I didn't know what it was or what it meant, and it honestly seemed like a negative influence on a positive campus culture at many colleges I had looked at. The WPI Fraternities & Sororities are completely different, and I think I've found some of my best friends at Sigma Pi. My fraternity focuses on pushing brothers to improve themselves and hold themselves in high esteem, and provides the resources to do just that. Feel free to contact me if you want to learn more about Greek life at WPI!
I've always loved working on things, being creative, and most of all being able to create anything I could think of from scratch. I started woodworking in middle school, robotics in 9th grade, working on cars in 11th and metalworking shortly after! If anything, being at WPI has only supported and boosted my hobbies and interests. One of the first things I did when I got here was learn how to 3D print!
