Darlina Phan

I am currently the Vice President of our largest theatre club on campus, VOX Musical Theatre! As club exec, I help manage relations with outside groups. I am also often on show exec as a Stage Manager or Vocal Music Director, which has me directly involved with how each of our shows are run! If I had to choose, my favorite show so far was Be More Chill, where I got to design a bunch of cool circuits that lit up the stage throughout the show.  

As the Music Director of Ketones A Cappella, I am in charge of finding our arrangements, leading the group in learning our music, and managing the execution of the show. Singing with everybody is always a blast as it's a fun and low-stakes environment to be in, but we'll always make sure to hunker down and focus when it matters to put on the best show possible!

These stoles are part of the Theatre Honor Society on campus, Alpha Psi Omega. As a group, we help out and improve all aspects of theatre, making sure things get built, shows go on stage, and keeping spirits high. We also do a 24-hour show where we produce, write, direct, cast, build, paint, light, and perform a show in exactly 24 hours. It's an entertainingly chaotic time, not only to push your theatre abilities to their limits but also to meet some of the many amazing alumni who come back every year to help us!

An activity I started while IQP, I've started recently enjoying rock climbing. Great way to move my body and I've met a lot of cool people while doing so! We have an outing club that takes people to the climbing gym once a week, as well as does a lot of other fun activities throughout the year.  

I've always been an artsy person and have continued doing random projects in my free time! My most recently project has been making a junk journal with all of my IQP memories, but you'll always catch me doing anything from photography to bracelet making to graphic design.
