Hello! I knew when going through the college decision process that I wanted a welcoming, tight knit community, and that is exactly what WPI feels like to me. Some other reasons I came to WPI include the IQP being built into the WPI plan as well as the 7 week term schedule so I could take different classes more frequently. AGD is one of the best parts of my WPI experience as I am a part of a diverse culture of women who are always there for each other. I fully believe that if I did not attend WPI, I would not have joined a sorority, however Greek Life on this campus is such an open and inviting experience that I recommend.

I work in the Grimmgroup, a physical chemistry lab in the Gateway research complex off campus. My reasearch is with MXenes, 2D nanomaterials made of a Ti-C lattice with various substituents that change the semi-conductive properties. These materials are used in flexible electronics and fabrics, as well as solar cells and semiconductors.
