I chose WPI for the STEM benefits: the project-based learning and opportunity to study Robotics Engineering. Once I got to WPI, I fell in love with non-STEM parts as well: the vibrant music scene on campus, the amazing theater and comedy shows put on by our very own students, and the wonderful people I've met in classes and in clubs. Being far from home was weird at first, but WPI quickly became a second home for me, and I'm completely comfortable here. I'd love to answer any questions you might have about any of my activities or WPI in general!
I am a Soprano 1 in Ketones, the newest of five a capella groups on campus. I am currently the Assistant Music Director for the group! This picture was taken at our 2025 show, Ketones Undercover.
I am a Resident Advisor, or RA, for first-year students. I enjoy creating fun bulletin boards, planning events, providing advice, and helping my residents through settling into WPI! This is one of the bulletin boards I created for my floor when we had a floor-wide Star Wars theme!
I joined Fencing Club my second year for PE credit in A & B term. It was cool to learn a new sport, and they did a great job of training everyone who had never fenced before!
The Makerspace empowers student teams through a program called Makerbucks by offering funding to support the creation of both hardware and software prototypes. I've worked on two of these projects with a friend; this was our first project, a functional R2D2 at about 40% size!
I mentored first years in the Great Problems Seminar (GPS) on extinctions, and participated in the climate change GPS course as a first year - this is my final project from my first year.
