I chose to join WPI because of the community you feel as soon as you walk on to campus. The project based learning fosters this community and has allowed me to pursue all of my interests. I have grown so much in and out of the classroom, and I will carry those skills with me for the rest of my life. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions!
I am a past exec member for Green Team and it was the first club I joined at WPI! Green Team strives for sustainability, action, and justice.
I am the current Vice President and previous Events Coordinator. In EWB I have worked on written and in lab research working to bring clean water to a small community in Ecuador.
I volunteer at the HFH ReStore here in Worcester and in my freshman year we built two playhouses to donate to two kids!
This was a tour of a wastewater treatment plant. Treatment plants use microbes to help break down organic matter!
As early as WPI's Frontiers summer program, I was learning hands on. Many other ME courses also use hands on learning!
In Junior year I completed my IQP in Puerto Rico. I worked with a local organization to create a business guide to assist them in creating an income generating platform for the sale of education materials!
As a first-year student, I worked on a project investigating the power blackouts in South Africa. Our project was called Notifying the Nation!
I am in the process of starting a new club with some other students that will empower sustainability-minded individuals at WPI through plant based food and beyond!
Other things I am interested in!
