Biomedical Engineering BS/Biomechanics

WPI has given me the opportunity to experience project-based learning to the next level. Apart from learning inside the classroom, I can put everything I learn into practice on the laboratories and expand my knowledge even further. Additionally to academics, WPI has a great diversity of culture and I have been able to connect with people from all over the world, and learn more about their lifestyle. I have friends from India and all the way to Venezuela. Finally, I love how I can be studying the major that I love, while being able to participate in different clubs and socialize with all of my new friends. It's very important to have a healthy balance between academics and personal life, and I think that at WPI I have the perfect balance. P.S. If you speak Spanish, please let me know, and we can have a chat together!

Club ENACTUS

I'm the Financial Director of ENACTUS, which is a club about innovation and entrepreneurship on WPI. Thanks to this experience I have connected with many other clubs in WPI and learned a lot about leadership.

Society of Women Engineers

SWE is one of my favorite clubs on campus! Besides making a lot of professional events, they also host some events where you can have fun and meet other women on campus and form deep connections with them!

BS in Biomedical Engineering

This is an example of the project-based learning in WPI. Here we were doing a circuit for our Electricity and Magnetism Physics course.

It can get very cold, but you find ways to have fun outside with your friends. Before coming here, I've only seen the snow one time!

The Student Activities Office (SAO) hosts several activities on the weekends during the term, where students get to relax and change their routine. Here we went Ice Skating!

During the first week of orientation you get to do the traditional WPI Bridge Crossing! You get to take a picture with Gompei at the end :)

The Student Government Association hosts a Pep Rally during the school year, where you learn more about WPI and its different clubs. You can get free WPI merch!
