Biochemistry, Pre-Medicine

WPI has allowed me to make great connections with people and have a lot of personal growth. The size is exactly what I was looking for - small enough where you always recognize familiar faces but large enough where you can always meet new people. The small size of the chemistry and biochemistry allows for attention from professors and being able to get involved very early in your education. If you would like to ask any questions about biology, chemistry, or biochemistry, I would love to chat! Or if you're just looking to talk about what goes on at WPI, I would love to grab a coffee :)

Biochemistry

I love being a biochemistry major! I get to do a little bit of biology, a little bit of chemistry, and a lot of a combo of the both. The best part of the major is getting involved in a lab right during freshman year.

Undergraduate Research

I am also involved in lab research! I worked in the Dempski lab junior year, and I will be continuing my MQP (major qualifying project) in his lab as well.

Greek Life

I have been involved in Greek life since freshman year! I was able to make so many great connections right away and was able to take advantage of leadership opportunities!

IQP

I completed my IQP (interactive qualifying project) in Puerto Rico C term of 2023! It was an amazing experience being able to do volunteer work for a community in San Juan. You can check out my published paper on the Puerto Rico project center website!

Rubik's Cube Club

I am the vice president of the Rubik's Cube Club. We get together around once a week and just hang out and solve Rubik's Cubes! We do events like mini competitions, tutorials on solving, and movie nights.
