WPI has been absolutely amazing for me! The project-based curriculum and the WPI Plan (that's 3 courses per quarter) have really given me the opportunity to dive deeper into the material that I'm interested in. Better still, the community at WPI gives everyone a place to feel welcome and explore their passions. Feel free to reach out with any questions or just to chat about WPI!
I founded and am the president of Campus Girl Scouts at WPI! We are an organization that promotes female leadership, empowerment, and advancement on campus and in the community. We volunteer with the Worcester Service Unit, host badge workshops for girls and troops in the area, and mentor younger Girl Scouts.
I play the alto saxophone and in the WPI Stage Band. I am also the PR chair for the WPI Jazz Groups, so be sure to check us out on social media! There are 3 jazz groups on campus, each with a concert every term.
I play the bass clarinet in the concert band and recently became the President of the Wind Band Association! I started a few weeks into A term of my Freshman year and it has been a really amazing experience. We have 1-2 concerts per term and rehearse twice a week. In 2025, we will be going on an international performance tour to Prague, Czech Republic!!
I started marching in the Pep Band when I was a sophomore and it has been one of the most amazing experiences! We march for the halftime show in home football games and play in the stands of home basketball games. One semester of pep band counts as a PE credit, so participating also completes the PE requirements!
