I chose WPI because I loved the campus, and the very open and welcoming environment that I felt when I toured here. That same feeling has stayed my entire time as a student, and is the reason I felt comfortable becoming so involved on campus, with not only Crimson Key, but also the Student Alumni Society (SAS), which I am on the executive board for, and Greek life!
INTERESTS AND INVOLVEMENTS
SAS (STUDENT ALUMNI SOCIETY)
SAS is a club that focuses on our school's traditions and history. We run a lot of fun events, including our biggest and most successful event, Haunted Higgins House, where we take one of the oldest buildings on campus and turn it into a haunted house for Halloweekend.
SAS has really helped me find my place in the WPI community and I have met so many amazing people and had so many great experiences. I am currently on the executive board as the treasurer for 2025.
SIGMA PI
Going into my first year at WPI, I never thought I would be involved in Greek life, but I decided to rush with some friends, and it was one of the best decisions of my life. I have met so many amazing people and have made bonds that will last my whole life.
I firmly believe that no matter who you are, there is a place in WPI Greek life for you, and it will be just as rewarding for you as it is for me.
SPORTS
Sports are such a huge part of my life, especially soccer, which I also play. I also love baseball and football, which is one of the reasons I love WPI - so close to the Red Sox! One of my favorite experiences was going to the Copa America in summer 2024 and watching Argentina vs. Chile at MetLife Stadium. It was such a fun experience and I got to see one of my favorite players, Lionel Messi, in person!
HIKING
I love to spend time outdoors, especially in the late spring to early summer months, and I love hiking, especially in the Adirondacks, which are just a couple hours from my home in upstate New York. This particular picture is of the Rainbow Falls in Keene Valley, NY, and is from one of my favorite hikes that I have been on!
