I chose WPI because I loved the campus, and the very open and welcoming environment that I felt when I toured here. I am so incredibly proud to say that feeling has been validated continuously during my time at WPI, and choosing to come here was the best decision of my life. I am incredibly involved on campus outside of Crimson Key, between Greek Life, Student Government, Honors Societies, and so much more; and these experiences have truly helped me to grow as a person and provided me with so many amazing memories.
INVOLVEMENTS AND INTERESTS
SAS (STUDENT ALUMNI SOCIETY)
SAS is a club that focuses on our school's traditions and history. We run a lot of fun events, including our biggest and most successful event, Haunted Higgins House, where we take one of the oldest buildings on campus and turn it into a haunted house for Halloweekend.
SAS was my first club I was involved in, and really helped me start out and find my place in the WPI community. Since joining, I have met so many amazing people and had so many great experiences, and I look forward to the ones I will continue to create. I was the Treasurer for 2025 and am currently the 2026 Student Engagement Chair!
SIGMA PI
Going into my first year at WPI, I never thought I would be involved in Greek life, but I decided to rush with some friends, and it was one of the best decisions of my life. I have met so many amazing people and have made bonds that will last my whole life. My fraternity, Sigma Pi, has helped me to grow so much as a person and a leader, and I truly would not be where I am today without this brotherhood.
I also am currently the VP of Operations for the Interfraternity Council, which has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, being able to give back and help the wider Greek Life community continue to grow and thrive.
I firmly believe that no matter who you are, there is a place in WPI Greek life for you, and it will be just as rewarding for you as it is for me.
SGA (Student Government)
I originally was against the idea of being in SGA, but some of my now really good friends pushed me to join, and I am very glad that I did. The conversations I am a part of in SGA truly feel like they have an impact on the student experience at WPI, and I am proud to be able to use my voice to make those experiences better.
I serve on the Community Outreach committee, alongside my normal senator duties, and I truly enjoy being able to interact with the wider student body and plan fun events, such as WPI's annual Pep Rally!
Community Advisor (CA)
My CA had an enourmous impact on my first year at WPI, and is now one of my really good friends. She helped me so much to feel more comfortable and confident in my first semester at school, and I soon knew that I wanted to become a CA so I could have that impact on future classes of students as well.
I am very happy to say that my experience in my first year of being a CA was so incredibly rewarding and I felt that I truly was able to help my students in the same way my CA did for me, and I can't wait to do it again next year!
SPORTS
Sports are such a huge part of my life, especially soccer, which I also play. I also love baseball and football, which is one of the reasons I love WPI - so close to the Red Sox! One of my favorite experiences was going to the Copa America in summer 2024 and watching Argentina vs. Chile at MetLife Stadium. It was such a fun experience and I got to see one of my favorite players, Lionel Messi, in person!
HIKING
I love to spend time outdoors, especially in the late spring to early summer months, and I love hiking, especially in the Adirondacks, which are just a couple hours from my home in upstate New York. This particular picture is of the Rainbow Falls in Keene Valley, NY, and is from one of my favorite hikes that I have been on!
