I choose WPI because I am a very hands on learner! WPI's project based learning and theory-to-practice resonated with me. Once arriving at WPI I immedietly felt at home! Being from New England, the bricks and general vibe felt comfortable. The people make WPI! I have met so many amazing people here that support me in so many different ways! Coming into college was a huge transition, but looking back I had nothing be afraid of knowing that my soon-to-be best friends were there waiting for me!
Outside of Class!
During my first year I joined AlphaGam. It was the best decision I've ever made. I have met my lifetime friends and gained leadership experience! Currently I am AlphaGam's Vice President of Event Planning (meaning I plan a whole bunch of events with other greek organizations and other organizations on campus)!
I work as a ungergraduate researcher in WPI's Combustion lab! It has been an absolutely amazing experience. I get work experience as well as the oportunity to use what I learn in the classroom. WPI has so many different Undergrad research opportunities! If you are looking for one you will typically find something you like!
I recently got involved in SAP (Sexual Assault Prevention Club). We do a lot of trainings for First-Years during NSO (new student orientation) as well as Greek organizations on campus. We tablesit a lot to ensure campus/external resources are known! It has been a great opportunity to learn more about WPI's resources and also gain leadership experience. I am currently Vice President of Programming!
My Intrests!
Volunteering
I've gotten many great opportunities to volunteer with St. Johns Food for the Poor in Worcester with my sorority!
Traveling
I've just recently found my love for traveling! I'm going to Albania for IQP in B-Term 2026! IQP is such a great opportunity to explore!
Painting
I love crafting in my free time! I found that I've fallen in love with painting as a way to give my brain a break from classes!
Cooking
Living off campus without a meal plan means I need to cook for myself...Turns out I love it!
