Vijay Mistry

I started getting involved with the Esports Club before I was even on campus through their discord server. As the current treasurer, I get a great view into all the inner workings of the club. Whether it be the ever-growing roster of games that we provide competitive teams for of all skill levels, or the new Esports Lab we have on campus that is open to all students to use. There is so much to do within Esports Club, and is also one of the fastest growing clubs on campus!

I never expected to join a fraternity when I came to WPI. I was actually completely opposed to it. But upon arriving, I found a very different fraternity culture than what I was expecting. Fraternity and Sorority life here at WPI has a special focus on philanthropy and community. There is always at least one group on campus raising money or attention towards a cause, and generally trying to make the world a better place. I found a group of like minded and driven individuals in my own fraternity, Phi Kappa Theta!

The Outing Club is hands down one of the coolest clubs here on campus. They are advocates for all things adventure, whether it be rock climbing, hiking and backpacking, camping, or even white water rafting! The Outing Club facilitates these activities and provides workshops and opportunities to practice these skills. They also are very active on campus with slack lines and hammocks near the Fountain during the warm months of the year.
