I came to WPI following my dreams of studying abroad without interrupting my studies. I was able to travel to Germany and live in Berlin for two months working on my IQP while practicing my classroom knowledge of the German language and culture. WPI has rich on-campus community, and as a first-generation student I really appreciated the feeling of inclusion amongst my peers.

I worked with three other WPI students in Berlin, Germany with the nonprofit Give Something Back to Berlin to help them create a community cookbook.

I started learning German in high school and continued my studies at WPI to fulfill the humanities graduation requirement, as well as obtain a minor.
