WPI has been one of the best decisions I could have made for myself. As a business major at a predominantly STEM-focused school, it took some time to get involved and find areas on campus that felt like home. Once I did though, I was able to find a second home up on the hill. WPI is not only providing me with a great education and access to career services, it is teaching me how to be an adult in today's world and society. The project based learning has taught me how to work in teams and to look for a compromise when there is no right or wrong answer. The 7 week terms have taught me how to work on a fast-paced deadline and how to establish good time management skills. The numerous clubs and organizations I am in have taught me how to stand up for myself and my opinions, and ultimately how to voice them. Overall, WPI has provided me with the opportunity to grow as a person and also choose the education I want to learn - I am the person holding my own fate in my hands!!
