2. If you confirm the customer only needs to unsubscribe from our newsletter, then you need to go to UMS and blacklist the customer to make sure no more newsletters will be sent to the customer again.
Here is the path: UMS -> User Management -> User list -> input the customer email and then click Inquire -> click check the details -> click add mail blacklist
Note: If the add mail blacklist button is greyed out, it means the email has been added into the blacklist already, and the customer won't receive the newsletters again.
3. If the customer needs to delete the account completely
(1) You need to double confirm with the customer whether the account needs to be deleted because if the account is being deleted, all the authorization will be deleted as well. If he/she simply doesn't want to receive the newsletters anymore, we can unsubscribe the account from our newsletter for him/her.
(2) If the customer reply again and agrees that he/she only needs to unsubscribe the newsletter, continue to Step 2 above;
(3) If the customer reply again and confirm that the account needs to he deleted completely from our system, then you will need to go to UMS to delete the account.
Path: User management ->delete users -> input the email address -> click Inquire -> click delete
Note!!
1. Once the account is deleted, all the authorization will be deactivated, and unsubscribe all the newsletters the next day. So make sure you have double-confirmed with the customer before deleting the account;
2. After you click delete, there won't be a double confirmation, you will delete the account as soon as you click the button, so make sure you have input the correct email address;
3. Before you notify the customer that it has been deleted, it is suggested to go to Modify delete user records to see whether it has been succeeded.
