Now that the students did some brainstorming in Lesson 1, we started diving into art talk regarding the elements and principles of art, or as I call them, Es&Ps.  I made them little zines of both the elements and principles so they can follow along as I go through a powerpoint. Students then created their own drawings using 2 Es&Ps for them to get accustomed to the vocabulary and what they entail. They later go on to include these in their paintings.
