8 - campbell soup installation

For the installation, we decided to go with a monochrome theme. For my part, I decided to do a Campbell's soup can that was mounted on the wall. I started with a piece of cardboard, the created shallow cuts in it from top to bottom to make it curve into a rounder shape. Then I added paper mache on top of the cardboard to hide those cuts before I sketched out the different parts of the can. I used black acrylic paint for certain parts of the can, and white spray paint to get a more even white across the bottom.
