transition to a future

This cityscape was started by picking the vanishing point, then drawing out the horizon line.  I drew orthogonals for the bottoms and tops of the buildings. For the sides of the buildings facing the viewer, I used vertical and horizontal lines. I wanted the scene to appear like it was taking place during daytime, so I had the buildings on the right have lighter midtones and shadows than the buildngs on the left.
