"Intersection"
For this work, I wanted to work with two point perspective. This is based off of some buildings in uptown Shelby with the vanishing points off of the page. I drew the horizon line to start with a graphite pencil, then used two items to the side of my paper to serve as the vanishing points. From there, I worked on creating the buildings by drawing vertical lines and then drawing orthogonals towards one of the vanishing points. I also did this with the roads and sidewalks. I used a black marker to line the buildings and ended up adding the utility poles and the power lines, along with the traffic lights. For the flowers in the bottom right corner, I decided on a generic flower shape and then repeated it, adding some variation with the bushes and other textures on the ground.
