sponge holders

For the sponge holders, I went with a seashell theme. I started out by rolling a slab out, then tracing three different types of shells out and carving them out with a needle tool. For the one in the center and on the right, I rolled a small coil and slipped and scored it to attach it so that the sponge had a place to rest.  I decided to attach a small slab of clay near the top of each of these sponge holders to add some elevation to them. For the glazing process, I worked with three high fire glazes and dipped them twice.
