3 - "apple and eve"

For the 2x4 project, I wanted to include a Biblical theme. I also wanted to add figures in a dynamic pose. I cut up the 2x4 and glued them together with wood glue before tracing out the shape of the two people there. I used a box cutter to carve away the foam, then used sandpaper to give the figures a smoother finish. From the foam that I carved away to make the figures, I made a small apple and leaf, then glued them together. For the figures, I added a triangular shape to each of their heads to give the impression of hair. I spray painted the figures black and used acrylic paint for the apple.
