UNSEEN
For this project, I decided to work with charcoal. I wanted the idea of the work to just have an uncomfortable amount of eyes staring at each other, with a strange creature in the center with two eyeballs for a head. I started with the figure and added a light source to the right of the page for a wider range of values. I also added a ground so that the figure would be anchored to something. I also decided halfway through the drawing to add a rough eye shape behind the figure and to fill it with some repeated eyes. Outside of the rough eye shape, I felt that the space was a bit empty, so I added more repeated and simpler eyes, and then four eyes with more detail added in them.
