ink tree

This tree work was done with a ballpoint pen. I blocked out the general shape of the tree, then blocked in shapes inside of the tree. I added more ink in certain areas for a wider range of values, since there aren't any midtones in the tree. I then extended the ground below the tree. For the texture of the leaves, I added some wavy lines and clustered them closely together.
