Verona - Suture Removal

If a patient had sutures placed at UW Verona Clinic and comes back to get them removed, it counts toward the global procedure fee so you do not need a staffer present to remove the sutures, and it should be coded as a “no charge” visit.

If the sutures were placed at another clinic, it is considered a procedure so use a smart set to bill it as suture removal and have the staffer present.
