NE RX Authorization


At Northeast, the Pharmacist addresses all prescription refill request for all providers. (Independent of where patient fills their prescriptions) This protocol allows the RPH to approve or deny refills per protocol. If a prescription falls out of the protocol you will receive a Refill request encounter in your in basket with notes as to what the patient is requesting and why pharmacy could not address the request. Please address these requests within 24 hours.
