NE Radiology

IN CLINIC:

• Amy Topinka is the go-to woman for all things imaging at Northeast. You can always walk down to the radiology room and ask her questions about the different types of studies/xrays.

• Can do XRAY during appointment or have patient come in for radiology only appointment.

• If during an appointment, you order the XRAY, the patient then goes and sits in the waiting area – Amy will then complete the ordered studies.

• You let the patient and/or Amy know that they can leave after the XRAY or that they need to return to the patient room.

FURTHER IMAGING:

• For CT, MRI, Ultrasound, you must place the order then Amy Topinka helps schedule/arrange further imaging.

RESULTS:

• If done at UW, results typically come to your inbasket. Occasionally they will be sent to the faculty inbasket but they will often forward this to you.

• If done at St. Mary's or Meriter- these are often faxed to the clinic and should be available in CareEverywhere on Epic.

IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT RESULTS:

• You can always ask the faculty.

• You can also call the radiologist directly at the Reading Room, the number is posted in the work station in clinic.
