INTRODUCTION

This guide was created as a quick reference for common questions and situations encountered in residency, particularly in the 1^st year. However, it is NOT meant to be exhaustive or authoritative, and should NOT replace referencing current and evidence-based references.

This guide was the brainchild of Liz Kvach (‘13) and Jenn Mastrocola (‘14), with the 1st edition printed in 2012. 2nd edition with revisision printed in 2013. Edits for revised 3rd edition, printed 2014, overseen by Jenn Mastrocola and Jonathan Takahashi (‘15). Many thanks to Dan Samuelson for helping format and make the print edition possible.
