The following Online and Hands-on Training Requirements must be met to be allowed to work in the vicinity of others using benzene:
NOTE: Benzene - AWARENESS training is for those who will only be working in the vicinity of others who use benzene.
NOTE: Benzene - USER training is for those who intend to work directly with benzene. Trainers must upload the group-specific benzene SWPs/RMFs when submitting the training record.

Hands-on training for BENZENE AWARENESS consists of a presentation on the hazards of benzene (available at the link below).
This training in intended only for those working in the vicinity of benzene. Workers who use benzene should complete the Benzene - USER training.
You must receive hands-on training from an authorised Trainer (generally academic staff, post-docs or senior group members, or technical staff)
Review the list of School of Chemistry Current Trainers to contact a suitable trainer (zID/zPass login)
If a suitable trainer cannot be found, please contact chemistryoperations@unsw.edu.au
Hands-on training must be submitted by the Trainer using the School of Chemistry Training Record Submission Form
Attendees will need to 'Approve' the training submission
