The Compulsory 2 modules cover all requirements of the HS049 induction which is used for Laboratories at UNSW, with the following exceptions:
Face-to-face introduction to area First Aid Officer(s)
Face-to-face introduction to area Fire/Floor Warden(s)
Specific locations of safety and emergency equipment (spill kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, safety showers, eyewash stations, emergency stop buttons, etc.)
Any special laboratory requirements (e.g. laser lab training, PC2 requirements, etc.)
To gain access to laboratories, users must:
Complete this module and any relevant building-specific sub-modules:
Complete the remaining Compulsory 2 modules:
Complete a face-to-face induction and the HS049 Induction Form to cover the points noted above and any other items that may be unclear
Complete the School of Chemistry Access Form
Submit the HS049 and Access Forms to chemistry.admin@unsw.edu.au
