To complete this module you must read and declare as read the SWPs listed below, successfully complete the Faculty of Science liquid nitrogen course on Moodle (see enrollment instructions below), watch a training video, and pass the quiz with a score of 85% or better. 

• 1. Complete the Faculty of Science Moodle course: HSELNC (also known as the Liquid Nitrogen Course)

     • See below for instructions to enroll in the course.

     • When you've successfully completed the course, please email a PDF copy of your certificate to chemistryoperations@unsw.edu.au

To enroll in the Faculty of Science Liquid Nitrogen Course:

• Instructions for students (staff can follow these as well) - Student Enrollments in myUNSW

  • NOTE: If you are having difficulty enrolling in the course, or if you have enrolled but it isn't showing up in your Moodle course list, please email HSETraining@unsw.edu.au for assistance.

• Log in to myUNSW using your zID and zPass

• Navigate to 'My Profile\Learning and Development\Request Training Enrolment'

• Search by Course Number for: HSELNC 

• Select 'View Available Sessions'

• Click on the Session number (should be '0001')

• Submit your enrollment request and allow 24 hours for the course to be visible in your Moodle dashboard

• Sign into Moodle and navigate to your 'Dashboard'.

• You should be able to select the Liquid Nitrogen Course from the 'Courses' tab and complete the course.

Hands-on Training Required

This activity requires hands-on training from an authorised trainer.  Please see the TRAINING REQUIREMENTS page for access to a list of authorised trainers and information on being declared competent to perform this activity.
