Compulsory 1

The Compulsory 1 modules cover all requirements of the HS006 induction which is used for Buildings and Offices at UNSW, with the following exceptions:

• Face-to-face introduction to area First Aid Officer(s)

• Face-to-face introduction to area Fire/Floor Warden(s)

• Specific locations of first aid kits

To gain after-hours access to the buildings and all-hours access to office areas, users must:

1. Complete the 'Introduction' module below and any relevant building-specific sub-modules

2. Complete a face-to-face induction and submit a request using the School of Chemistry Online Induction/Access Request Form

Introduction module (required for all users)

• • Compulsory 1.1 – Basic Safety in the School of Chemistry

Building-specific sub-modules (required for access to the specified buildings)

• • Compulsory 1.1.1 – Basic Safety in Chemical Sciences (F10) and Dalton (F12)

  • Compulsory 1.1.2 – Basic Safety in Hilmer (E10)

  • Compulsory 1.1.3 – Basic Safety in SEB (E8)
