SAFETY SEMINARS
The School of Chemistry safety seminars are an ongoing initiative to build your knowledge of safety issues, hazards and how to effectively manage risks. We aim to give you a broad understanding of how your research is facilitated by the many internal and external stakeholders, and how working within the university as an organisation is influenced and impacted by the wider world.

UNSW Chemistry Safety Seminar, 24th March 2022

This first seminar, presented by our own HSE Advisor, Nick Konstandaras, will give you a background to our aims and goals for these seminars and what is in the works for the next year (2022). Nick will cover the basics and current procedures of health and safety within the school. This will extend into a discussion on safety incidences, both past, recent and potential, and how they may be addressed on a school and university wide level. Please note the first 10 minutes of this recording is unavailable.
