The Research Training and Safety program currently consists of the following Instruments and Equipment Modules.
Some students and staff working in School of Chemistry laboratories may be required to complete modules before using the instruments or being granted booking rights in ACLS.
NOTE: Completing an instrument module will not grant you access to the room in which the instrument resides - you will need to be inducted to the room and granted room access separately. Please see the Induction Modules for general induction requirements and specific rooms that may have online inductions available.
NOTE: After successfully completing the required instrument training module(s), you must contact the Trainer listed in ACLS to request a user certificate in order to book and use the instrument.
You will have completed a module when you have read the SWPs and passed the quiz with a satisfactory score.
