The requirements for access to buildings, offices, laboratories and other areas in the UNSW School of Chemistry are listed on the sheet below:
All areas require the completion of Compulsory online induction modules. Most areas also require a face-to-face induction, along with completed paperwork (HS049 and Access Request Form). For some areas, area specific inductions and access requests may be completed entirely online (see below).
Staff and students of UNSW who are external to the School of Chemistry should also review the policy below for information on access to Chemistry buildings, labs and equipment:
Staff and students seeking after hours access to lab spaces will need to have a signed HS703 Working Alone or After Hours Form saved in their group's folder before access. After hours access requests to lab spaces that do not meet this requirement will be rejected and will need to be resubmitted. (Please note, if you are seeking after hours access to office spaces and daytime access to lab spaces, these will need to be submitted as separate access requests). New Keywatcher Users - please use the F10 Keywatcher User Registration Form below to register for use of the F10 Keywatcher and initial access to keys. Please select the ‘UNSW School of Chemistry – School of Chemistry’ profile when registering.
