The admissions review for the Honors College is holistic; therefore, there are no set requirements for admission. The Honors College Admissions Committee considers the high school and/or academic record, extracurricular activities, test scores, and essay submitted in the application. Applicants may be invited for an interview or invited for an interview over the phone.
The average Honors students have graduated in the top 10% of their high school class, and earned a score of 1300 or above on the SAT. Again, there are no requirements when it comes to class rank and test scores, therefore all interested students are encouraged to apply.
No SAT or class rank information is required. The Honors Admissions Committee will consider completed college coursework. Transfer or current students should have a least a cumulative GPA of 3.25 to be considered.
