The library provides several of different learning environments: large areas of space where people can converse, quiet zones, group study rooms, and individual study rooms.
Yes, the library has a large computer lab, which is home to both Macs and PCs. All UH students also receive 500 pages of free printing at the library per semester they are enrolled in at UH main campus.
MD Anderson Library, the William R. Jenkins Architecture, Design & Art Library (located in Gerald D. Hines building), the Health Sciences Library, the Music Library, and the O'Quinn Law Library all together provide access to more than 3.2 million physical and digital volumes, 159,714 physical and digital journals and other serial subscriptions, 108,834 e-journal titles, 724,075 e-books, and 419 databases.

One Button Studio
Students, faculty, and staff can utilize this studio to create videos. It's as easy as a simple click of a button, and no videography experience is needed. This studio is available on a first-come, first-serve basis Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm.
Hamill Foundation Multimedia Studio
Students, faculty, and staff can utilize this studio filled with audio booths and professional grade recording equipment. A REQUEST FORM must be submitted in order to reserve the studio.
Digital Research Commons
The best place on campus to learn more about how to use digital tools in your work. They provide workshops and talks which include hands-on instruction and cutting edge machinery to complete your projects.
